Mission Statement
At the Breck Primary School, we are committed to providing an exciting, engaging and progressive English curriculum for our children. We want our children to become enthusiastic, engaged readers and writers who develop a life-long love of books and a passion for writing.

We understand how important it is to be heard so speaking and listening skills are built into all aspects of the English curriculum with the aim being that every child can communicate their thoughts, ideas and opinions clearly and succinctly, as well as listening to and reflecting on the ideas of others.

At the Breck we understand the importance of developing children’s love of literature and understand how the ability to read well will allow our children to become lifelong learners and ensure our children success in society. We provide a quality education by immersing our children in texts of worth to instil a love of reading.
